Quickly describe your morning routine.

My alarm is set for 6:45 AM, but I almost always hit snooze (trying to break the habit).
I head out around 7:30 AM, catch the A or D train to work,
grab a blueberry muffin (and Martinelli’s Apple Cider if I’m feeling fancy) from the deli downstairs, then begin morning meetings with my team.

How often do you change your morning routine?

My morning routine only changes once the weekend hits.

Do you use an alarm or a specific app to help you wake up?

I use the alarm on my phone to wake up.

Do you eat breakfast in the morning, if so, what do you typically have?

I typically eat a blueberry muffin for breakfast.

What is the first drink you have in the morning, and at what time?

The first drink I have in the morning is usually either apple juice, coffee,
orange juice or water around 8:30 AM.

Do you exercise in the morning and/or meditate in the morning?

Nah.

How soon after waking up do you check your phone? [Check/send emails, social media]

I check my phone pretty instantly when I wake up.

What are the most important tasks you complete in the morning?

Emailing clients back, status meetings with my team, and eating breakfast!

What is your bedtime routine?

I’ll typically just take my makeup off, take a shower, moisturize (very important),
check my email and social networks, probably watch one
episode of ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,’ then eventually fall asleep.

Are you able to keep the same routine when you’re traveling or in a different environment?

Yea most of the time.

Do you stick to your routine on the weekends or do you tweak it?

My weekend routine is very different. If I don’t go out or if I’m not in the studio Friday night, I’m usually in bed very early. If I don’t have an early shoot Saturday morning,
I like to sleep in as late as I can and catch up on rest I missed during the week.
I’m usually always somewhere on Saturday night listening to live music.
I get up early on Sunday to sing in the church choir and later in the afternoon,
I’m probably cooking for the week or in the studio.

Do you see a change in your day if you forget/don’t to follow your morning routine?

If I don’t eat breakfast or get to work on time, my day will probably be trash.
