I’m not perfect. Sometimes I may skip meditation. What I never do is not pray.
I pray every day no matter what and give thanks.

Quickly describe your morning routine.
I wake up. Pray. Meditate. Watch a short vision board video. Do a few swings on the kettle bell the go on about my day as far as shower etc.

How often do you change your morning routine?
I’m not perfect. Sometimes I may skip meditation. What I never do is not pray.

Do you use an alarm or a specific app to help you wake up?
Yes. My Alarm Clock wakes me up at 5 am every day. I beat my alarm most of the time, though.
I use a standard alarm clock app from the app store. Nothing fancy.

Do you eat breakfast in the morning, if so, what do you typically have?
I usually fast 2 times a week. Outside of that my breakfast maybe a granola bar or a bowl of cereal.
I don’t eat cereal that much but sometimes I turn into a kid and need my frosted flakes.

What is the first drink you have in the morning, and at what time?
I drink water as soon as I wake up. It gives me energy.

Do you exercise in the morning and/or meditate in the morning?
Yes, meditation is key for setting the mood for the day.
I plan to start walking 5 miles every other day.
I used to do it, and always felt energized in the morning after a long walk.

How soon after waking up do you check your phone? [Check/send emails, social media]
I check my phone immediately.
Since my alarm is on my phone I tend to wander around in my email or social media for about 5 minutes.

What are the most important tasks you complete in the morning?
Prayer and meditation.

What is your bedtime routine?
I like to watch cartoons at night before bed. Shows like family guy and American dad crack me up.

Are you able to keep the same routine when you’re traveling or in a different environment?
No, I have to get better at that. Travel usually disrupts my routine.

Do you stick to your routine on the weekends or do you tweak it?
I stick to it. The walks are longer.

Do you see a change in your day if you forget/don’t to follow your morning routine?
I see a change sometimes. I think it’s all mental. My frustration usually comes from not being able to do it.
